Pastels, Studies of light
The pastels are intermediaries works between the first
strokes of the pencil in sketch book and the realization of a sculpture or
installation model.
They allow to the artist to define many elements of creation of that’s how:
- The creation of new forms of sculptures and installations.
- Determine the dimensions of these works in a space.
- Choose the colors of a sculpture or an installation.
- Define the distances between various elements of a group of sculptures.
- Seeking solutions of lights, here some examples of light as a "ball of
energy", "light rain", "flash", "cloud of
light" ...
